Third place was a tie between Kristin Hoffman with a Drunken Cherry Coconut Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate and Toasted Pecans AND Lyndsy Hassett who created a Sweet Olive Oil Ice Cream with Honey-Vanilla Roasted Apricots & Pistachios. Both recipes are absolutely delicious!!

First we would like to introduce Kristin’s mouthwatering recipe: “I am the writer of the blog, BakerBettie.com. I like to focus on food that is amazingly delicious yet can still be enjoyed by those who have special dietary needs. This ice cream is vegan and refined sugar free, but you would know that unless you were told. The healthy fat of the coconut milk gives this dairy free ice cream an amazingly creamy, and rich texture.”
