Rodelle’s Spring Baking Challenge!
If you’ve been following Rodelle on Instagram, we hosted our very first Spring Baking Challenge (#springbakingfling2022)! It was such a fun event to put together and we had a wonderful opportunity to work with some amazing content creators who were hosts for this challenge! Our goal with the event was to get people involved in the community and to inspire everyone to start baking! There were so many beautiful and fun desserts – some were designed just for the event while others were inspired by other influencer recipes! We had 3 prompts set up and about a week for each: Pastel & Glazed, Bright and Sunny, and Sweet Yet Tart.
We wanted to show off our hosts from this challenge and the remarkable recipes they made using Rodelle’s Vanilla Paste. Maybe you’ll be inspired to try these recipes out too! Definitely ensure to check each hosts’ account and website for more of their extraordinary work!
Vanilla Glazed Air-Fryer Donuts by Samantha (osugarsugar)
Prompt: Pastel and Glazed
Isn’t it amazing what you can make in an Air-Fryer?! These donut holes are bite size and baked to perfection. The interior is filled with just the right amount of creamy vanilla custard or flavor of your choosing and topped with a pastel colored vanilla glaze. You can even see the flecks of vanilla in the glaze which we love!
Decadent Fudge Pops by Laila (nodairynocry)
Prompt: Pastel and Glazed
Rich dark fudgy interior dipped in a beautiful pastel blue glaze and fun confetti sprinkles on top. This recipe is easy and great for events or maybe a sweet snack for the household. Pop them in the fridge if you’re wanting an extra cool snack with the summer weather starting to move in!
Grapefruit Citrus Glazed Donuts by Amanda (@frommeovuu)
Prompt: Pastel and Glazed
Fresh citrusy glazed donuts that have that wonderful baked donut texture. Your house will smell like grapefruit and it will be AMAZING. Plus they’ll be a hit with the little ones! We also love how this is a paleo-friendly recipe so gluten free, refined sugar-free, and vegetable oil-free!
Sunshine Bundt Cake by Erin (@FreshBeanBakery)
Prompt: Sunshine and Bright
Bright and beautiful – this soft and tender vanilla bundt cake is marbled with a fresh lemon and raspberry batter and topped with a lemon vanilla cream cheese glaze. It’s like biting into a citrusy warm summer day, if you know what I mean!
