Most of us have had angel food cake, but how about Angel Food Cupcakes with Strawberries and Vanilla Bean Whip?! Angel food cake is so light, fluffy and sweet! We were inspired by this delicious cake and decided to take its amazingness and add our own twist: vanilla beans and almond extract!
If you’ve never tried our Almond Extract, here’s a bit about it: It has a warm, toasty flavor that is both delicate and rich. The flavor is so bold that it takes just a few drops to add a full, nutty flavor to any of your signature dishes. Enhance candies and puddings, sauces and salad dressings…try it in fruit compotes. Or add a drop to sweetened whipped cream for a surprise treat!
But on with the recipe! Sometimes cupcakes are just more convenient and easier to eat on the go. Let’s face it, we all know Spring-time can get a little busy with the changing of seasons, school almost out for the kiddos, and it’s getting a little warmer, so we’re baking less and less. So we thought cupcakes just might be a great solution to all of the craziness that Spring brings with it! Enjoy!
