This is THE hummus dip you need for your next party! It tastes just like brownie batter without the eggs and is made with chickpeas and is naturally sweetened with maple syrup. You can use any type of nut butter but if you’re looking for a Reese’s flavor, use peanut butter (we’ve made them both!).
- Easy
- 5 mins
- 1 servings
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas (15oz)
- 1/3 cup Rodelle Gourmet Cocoa Powder
- ½ cup maple syrup (or any sweetener of your choice)
- 3 tablespoons nut butter
- 2 teaspoons Rodelle Pure Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk (plus more if needed)
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Uses
Directions
- Drain and rinse chickpeas well before use
- Add all ingredients from chickpeas to salt into a high-power blender and blend
- Slowly add almond milk until desired consistency is reached
- Pour into a container or serving bowl and fold in chocolate chips
- Refrigerate 30min to 1hr to reach desired consistency
- Serve with your favorite fruit, cookie, or cracker
Notes:
- Any nut butter works, but peanut butter will give the hummus a distinct peanut butter flavor (very similar to a Reese’s)
