Indulge in the delightful simplicity of our Airfryer Vanilla Cake! This easy-to-make recipe yields a moist and fluffy cake from one bowl, a hand mixer and an air fryer. It’s honestly great for any occasion whether that be for a small gathering of friends, a chill date night, or just for you! This one-layer cake is infused with a rich vanilla flavor and stacked with creamy frosting – feel free to make your own frosting or use your favorite store-bought brand. We also have a recipe for a salted vanilla glaze that is super simple but super flavorful at the same time! Ingredients

For the Vanilla Cake:

  • 4 ½ Tablespoons (64 g) Unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (150 g) Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp (135 g) All-purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ tsp (6 g) Baking powder
  • ½ tsp (4 g) Rodelle Uganda Pure Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp (3 g) Salt
  • 2 Whole eggs
  • ¼ cup Milk (64 mL)

For the Salted Vanilla Glaze (optional):

  • 1 cup (100 g) Powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 Tablespoons (20 g) Water or milk
  • ¼ tsp (0.5 g) Rodelle Uganda Pure Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp (1 g) Salt

For the Chantilly cream (optional):

  • 1 cup (230 ) Heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup (30 g) Powdered sugar, sifted
  • ¼ tsp (1 g) Rodelle Uganda Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of salt

For the Cake:

  • Preheat air fryer to 320F.
  • Grease and line bottom of air fryer baking pan attachment (or 8 inch cake pan) with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  • Beat softened butter and sugar in mixer until fluffy and pale.
  • Add eggs one at a time, scraping bowl in between additions.
  • Add Rodelle Uganda Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Starting with dry, alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk in 3 additions.
  • Pour prepared mix into pan and smooth evenly.
  • Bake @ 320 F for 18 minutes. Reduce to 300 F and bake an additional 12 minutes or until toothpick comes out cleanly (Bake time may vary depending on Air fryer and cake pan used).
  • Let cool in pan.
  • Turn cake out of pan.
  • Trim cake flat if top is domed or a touch on the dark brown side.
  • Flip cake over and top with glaze, frosting, or Chantilly cream and berries.

For the Salted Vanilla Glaze (optional):

  • Whisk 2 Tbsp water or milk into powdered sugar until smooth. Adjust consistency with more water or milk if needed.

For the Chantilly cream (optional):

  • Whisk cold cream with mixer until soft peaks.
  • Add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  • Whisk until stiff.
