Directions
For the Mixture in Jar
Directions:
- Add all ingredients except for chocolate chips to a mason jar (based on size chosen above)
- Shake mason jar until all ingredients are relatively combined
- Add chocolate chips to the top and seal
Note:
- For a dairy free option, use dairy free chocolate chips and suggest coconut milk in place of the butter on the attached notecard
- 8oz Mason jar = ~ 8 cookies (family of 4 or smaller)
- 16oz Mason jar = ~ 16 cookies (family of 5+)
- Print attachment out and add to a string to tie around the mouth of the jar
For adding wet ingredients when ready to make the mix.
1. Add coconut oil/butter, egg, and PVE to a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and beat until light and fluffy ~2 minutes
2. Slowly add in the dry ingredients until a crumbly dough is formed - enough where you can make cookie dough balls. If you think your dough is too dry, melt and add 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil/butter at a time and mix together until you get a dry yet formable dough.
3. Using a rounded tablespoon, scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
4. Bake at 350F for 8-10minutes, or until golden brown and still soft in the middle
5. Take out of oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes before placing on a cooling rack then serve. Enjoy!
