Chocolate and Vanilla Swirl Tartlet Recipe

  • ½ cup butter, unsalted
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup of flour


  • 2/3 cup 60% chocolate
  • ½ cup milk, divided
  • 1 ½ tsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 2/3 cup white baking chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cold whipping cream



  • Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  • Beat butter and sugar until blended.
  • Add egg yolks; mix well.
  • Add in 1 cup of flour, until mixture is crumbly.
  • Press onto bottom and sides of prepared tart pans; prick sides and bottom of shell to prevent puffing.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.


  • Place chocolate, ¼ milk and sugar in medium saucepan and melt over low heat.
  • Add ½ tsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract.
  • Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small cup; let stand 2 minutes to soften.
  • Place white chocolate chips and ¼ cup milk into a separate saucepan and stir over low heat until melted.
  • Add ½ tsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract.
  • Once melted stir in gelatin and water until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Beat whipping cream until stiff; add remaining ½ tsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract.
  • Fold 1 cup whipped cream into white chocolate mixture.
