Roast Beef Rub Recipe

  • 1 4-6 pound boneless rib roast
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Rodelle Prime Rib Seasoning


Preheat oven to 500° F

  1. Combine Rodelle Prime Rib Seasoning with butter in a small bowl.
  2. Rub the herb butter all over the rib roast, then place on a roasting tray with a rack.
  3. Bake for 7 minutes per pound of meat for medium rare.
  4. Without opening oven door, turn off the heat and let the rib roast sit in the oven for 2 hours. Do not open the oven door until the 2 hours are up.
  5. Remove from oven, slice, and serve
