The Great American Ice Cream Challenge is in full swing! As we mentioned earlier, YOUR RECIPES ARE JUST TOO YUMMY TO KEEP TO OURSELVES so we’re featuring random recipe submissions until the end of the contest (July 31st).

Today’s featured entry has been created by Nancy Brush of Newport, RI. Her mouthwatering recipe entry is deliciously named: Intense Vanilla Malted Ice Cream! WOW!

“Since I can never get enough vanilla, not only did I use vanilla beans, but also vanilla extract to achieve the flavor intensity I wanted. Cherries, chocolate and roasted peanuts are traditional companions to soda fountain creations, but the leap was made to combine them with vanilla malted ice cream.” MMMMM!!!
